We manage the claim with the at-fault driver’s insurer from start to finish. You bring us the other driver’s details and we handle the paperwork, the assessment and the repair.
If your car can’t be driven, we arrange towing to our workshop in North Parramatta through our towing partner, Protilt Towing. We can also arrange a replacement car so you stay on the road while yours is repaired.
What to do straight after the accident
- Make sure everyone is safe and call 000 if anyone is hurt
- Swap details: name, phone, address, rego and insurer of the other driver
- Take photos of both cars, the scene and the other driver’s licence and rego
- Don’t admit fault or sign anything from a tow operator you didn’t call

Your rights in NSW
If you weren’t at fault, you can claim the cost of repairs from the at-fault driver or their insurer. You can also ask for the repairer of your choice.
Tow operators at the scene must have a NSW licence and give you an authority-to-tow form. You decide where your car goes.

Common questions
Do I pay an excess if I’m not at fault?
No excess applies when we claim from the at-fault driver’s insurer, as long as the other driver is identified and their insurer accepts the claim.
What if the other driver doesn’t have insurance?
You may still be able to claim through your own policy (some include uninsured motorist cover), or recover the cost from the driver directly. Call us and we’ll explain the options.
Can I get a replacement car?
Yes. If you weren’t at fault, we can arrange a replacement car while yours is repaired, so you’re not left without transport. Ask us when you call.
What details do I need from the other driver?
Their full name, phone number, address, licence number, registration and insurer. A photo of their licence and number plate is ideal.
What if the other driver’s insurer disputes fault?
We’ll help with the evidence you have, like photos, witness details and any police event number. If fault is disputed, you can also claim on your own policy while it’s sorted out.
